Norwegian Krumkake

Ingredients
- 3 pcs eggs
- 0.75 g sugar
- 0.6666666666666666 g butter
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 0.5 g salt
- 1.25 g flour
- 1 ml water
Instructions
- Beat the egg and sugar together until the blend becomes thick.
- Heat the butter until melted, then allow it to cool for a moment.
- Incorporate the melted butter into the egg mixture.
- Stir in your chosen spices.
- Gradually mix in the flour while stirring to prevent any lumps.
- Allow the batter to rest for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Drop about one heaping tablespoon of batter onto the iron.
- If the batter appears too thick, add a little water to adjust the consistency.
- While it's still warm, mold the krumkake using a wooden krumkake roller or by draping it over a cup.
- When using a cup, ensure the krumkake is slightly thicker.
- Keep the krumkake on the roller or cup until you're ready to shape the next one.
- Once completely cooled, store the krumkaker in a metal or glass container lined with paper towels.
- You also have the option to freeze the krumkaker.
