- 1 g turmeric

- 1 g sugar
Instructions
- Warm a frying pan over medium heat and pour in enough oil to lightly coat the base.
- Sauté the crushed garlic and ginger in the pan until they release their aroma.
- Add the ground meat along with all seasonings; break it up with a spatula and cook until completely browned.
- Transfer the cooked meat to a plate and allow it to cool.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooled minced meat with the egg, diced tomato and chopped spring onion until well combined.
- Prepare your pastry: either layer two sheets of filo pastry or use a single spring roll wrapper.
- Brush the pastry with melted butter and spoon a portion of the filling into the center.
- Fold the pastry into a packet and run melted butter along the sealed edges.
- Heat a frying pan over medium, add a little oil and fry the parcel, turning as needed, until both faces and the edges are golden.
- Or, brush the parcel with melted butter and bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 10–15 minutes, until golden.
- Serve the hot parcels and enjoy.
