Fast Creme Brulee

Ingredients
- 240 ml cream
- 120 ml milk
- 50 g sugar
- 4 pcs egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1000 ml water
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- In a small pan, heat 240 ml of cream and 120 ml of milk over medium heat until small bubbles form.
- In a large measuring cup, stir in 50 g of sugar. Whisk 4 egg yolks, then pour them into the cream mixture while stirring constantly. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Remove the pan from heat and strain the cream mixture through a sieve into a large measuring cup.
- Lightly grease 4 (120 ml) ovenproof custard cups.
- Fill a 23 cm square pan with 3 cm of hot water and place it in the oven to add moisture.
- Place the custard cups in the oven and bake in the center for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the cups from the oven and refrigerate overnight.
- Before serving, preheat the broiler/grill.
- Lightly sprinkle brown sugar on top of each custard cup and broil until the sugar melts.
- Serve immediately after broiling.
