Ingredients
- 1 g potatoes
- 1 g onions
- 2 pcs garlic
- 4 pcs eggs
- 4 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 pcs to taste salt
- 1 pcs to taste black pepper
- 1 pcs for frying oil
Instructions
- Begin by peeling and finely grating the potatoes.
- Take a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much liquid as you can from the grated potatoes.
- In a large bowl, mix together the grated potatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, eggs, flour, marjoram, salt, and black pepper.
- Blend the ingredients thoroughly until a thick and smooth batter is achieved.
- In a sizable frying pan, warm a good amount of oil over medium heat.
- Make sure the oil is hot but not reaching the smoking point.
- Scoop portions of the batter into the pan, pressing each one down to form a thin pancake.
- Cook the pancakes until they are golden brown and crispy on one side.
- Carefully flip the pancakes and continue cooking the other side until it is also golden and crispy.
- Once cooked, place the pancakes on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any extra oil.
- Serve the pancakes right away while they are hot, accompanied by sour cream, garlic dip, or as a side dish.
