  1. Combine the flour, cinnamon, and sugar in an appropriate bowl.
  2. In another bowl, blend the egg with the milk using a whisk.
  3. Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the egg and milk blend.
  4. Gradually combine the ingredients to create a dough.
  5. Knead the dough for 3-4 minutes until it no longer adheres to the bowl and has a smooth texture.
  6. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  7. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 1cm.
  8. With a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into your preferred sizes.
  9. Place the cut pieces of dough aside in preparation for deep frying.
  10. Heat oil in an appropriate pot.
  11. Carefully immerse the mandazi pieces into the hot oil.
  12. Fry until the first side turns a light brown, then flip to cook the other side.
  13. Enjoy the mandazis either warm or cold.
