Beef in a pitta

Ingredients
- 500 g sirloin steaks
- 100 ml water
- 1 g baking soda
- 1 g iceberg lettuce
- 1 pcs cucumber
- 2 g tomatoes
- 6 pcs garlic cloves
- 1 g olive oil
- 4 ml soy sauce
- 1 g cornflour
- 1 ml worcestershire sauce
- 0.5 g salt
- 0.25 g black pepper
- 8 pcs pitta bread
- 1 g mayonnaise
Instructions
- Cut 500g of sirloin steak into thin strips. For the thinnest steaks, freeze the beef first and cut when frozen or use a grater. Take the shredded beef and place in 100ml of water and teaspoon of baking soda for 15 minutes.
- Cut and wash an iceberg lettuce. Optional add cucumber and tomatoes to make a salad.
- Chop 6 cloves of garlic into course chunks.
- Rinse the steak with cold water.
- Fry the garlic in a pan with some olive oil until light brown. Immediately add the steak and 4 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of cornflour with 1 cup of water in a mug. Pour into the pan making sure to keep stirring. Add a teaspoon of lea and perins sauce
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat pitta bread in toaster. Open cooked pitta and add meat with salad and mayonnaise to serve.
