Ingredients
- 300 g chicken
- 1 pcs onion
- 2 pcs garlic
- 200 g broccoli
- 150 g green beans
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1.5 tbsp soya sauce
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 200 g udon noodles
- 1000 ml water
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: dice chicken into bite-sized pieces, slice onion, mince garlic, cut broccoli into florets and trim green beans (or use other vegetables). Choose udon noodles, rice, or pasta.
- Heat about 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced chicken and cook, stirring, until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
- Push the chicken to one side, add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and cook 1–2 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Add the broccoli and beans and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 3–5 minutes.
- Season with soya sauce to taste (about 1–2 tablespoons / 15–30 ml) and freshly ground black pepper; stir to combine.
- Meanwhile cook the udon noodles (or rice/pasta) according to the package instructions, then drain and reserve a little cooking water if desired.
- Add the cooked noodles (or rice/pasta) to the pan, toss everything together and heat through 1–2 minutes. Serve immediately.
