Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt 200g of butter in a deep pan. Chop 8 cloves of garlic into small chunks. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and keep on a high heat until the butter bubbles.
  2. Add a tablespoon of sugar. Add 1/2 cup of white wine. Add 1 chicken stock cube.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of corn flour in a mug. Add a little milk and stir in to make a paste. Gradually add 1 cup of milk into this corn/milk mix while still stiring. This will make the sauce creamy and thicker.
  4. Add the milk and cornflour mixture to the pan and stir slowly until it heats up.
  5. Add uncooked prawns and cook until the prawns turn red.
  6. Server prawns with a garnishing of fresh parsley on top. Optionally sprinkle a bit of sugar on top and put under the grill to make it a little crunchier.
  7. Serve with a side of garlic bread
