Ingredients
- 2 pcs chicken wings
- 1 pcs to taste salt
- 1 g black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 g turmeric
- 1 pcs for frying oil
- 1.5 g cassava
Instructions
- Wash the chicken wings under cold running water, then blot them completely dry with paper towels.
- Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl.
- Season the wings with garlic (minced or powdered), salt, black pepper, and turmeric; add optional spices such as paprika or cayenne if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate the seasoned wings for at least 1 hour to marinate.
- Spread tapioca (cassava) flour onto a shallow plate or dish.
- Coat each wing in the tapioca flour, shake off any excess, arrange them on a wire rack or plate, and let rest 30-60 minutes to set.
- Pour enough oil into a saucepan for shallow frying and heat it until hot.
- Fry the wings over medium heat until the surface turns light brown, turning as needed for even browning.
- Move the wings to paper towels to drain off excess oil and let them rest for at least 10 minutes.
- Return the rested wings to the hot pan and fry over high heat until the exterior is golden brown and crisp.
- Serve the wings immediately while hot and enjoy.
