  1. Heat a frying pan and add oil.
  2. Flour the ribs and brown them in the pan.
  3. Sprinkle the browned ribs with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the pickles and brine, cook for a further 5 minutes.
  5. Mix mustard, brown sugar, and flour with a little water, add vinegar, and stir into the ribs.
  6. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes.
  7. Place the ribs in a covered casserole dish.
  8. Bake at175°C (350°F) for 1 hour.
