Ingredients
- 1 g butter
- 3 pcs egg yolks
- 8 g cream cheese
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 g flour
- 1 pcs jam
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the egg yolks, cream cheese, and baking powder with a hand mixer.
- Gradually incorporate the flour into the mixture.
- When the mixture resembles coarse wood shavings and is difficult to blend, cease using the mixer.
- Knead the dough with your hands.
- Form the dough into a roll.
- Wrap the roll in aluminum foil.
- Place the roll in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Remove the dough from the freezer.
- Divide the dough into two equal sections.
- Roll out each section and cut them into 3-inch triangles.
- Add a small spoonful of jam to the center of each triangle.
- Shape each triangle into a croissant by rolling it up.
- Arrange the croissants on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake the croissants for 10-12 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Repeat the procedure with the remaining dough.
- Once baked, remove the croissants from the oven.
- Set the croissants aside and dust them with powdered sugar on top.
- This recipe yields approximately 3 batches of 20 cookies each.
- The total number of cookies is around 60.
