Ingredients
- 750 g minced beef
- 4 pcs garlic cloves
- 1 g cumin
- 1 g smoked paprika
- 2 g tinned tomatoes
- 1 g iceberg lettuce
- 2 pcs avocado
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 8 pcs taco shells
- 150 ml sour cream
- 50 g jalapenos
- 1 g tabasco sauce
- 1 g salt
Instructions
- Brown 750g minced beef for 15 minutes in a frying pan. While browning, chop 4 garlic cloves and add to the frying meat.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
- Once the mince is cooked, add 1 tablespoon of cumin, 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika and 2 tins on tinned tomatoes. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
- While simmering, chop up iceberg lettuce and wash. Cut 2 avocados in halves and remove the pip and skin. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the avocados (or slice with a knife).
- Grate some cheddar cheese while warming hard taco shells in the oven (2 mins).
- Serve the beef in a bowl, tacos on a tray, lettuce in bowl and avocado/lettuce on a plate. People can now make their own tacos and top with sour cream and jalapenos and tabasco sauce.
