  2. Thoroughly knead the dough.
  3. Wrap the dough to keep it covered.
  4. Allow the dough to rise until it has doubled in volume, which should take around 2 hours.
  5. Punch down the dough to release the air.
  6. Lightly knead the dough again.
  7. Cut the dough into two equal portions.
  8. Shape each portion into a rectangle measuring approximately 12 inches by 8 inches.
  9. Combine the ingredients for the filling.
  10. Distribute the filling evenly between the two dough pieces.
  11. Spread the filling across each rectangle of dough.
  12. Roll each rectangle tightly to create two sausage-shaped rolls measuring 12 inches.
  13. Position the two rolls next to each other on a greased baking tray, ensuring they touch.
  14. Cover the rolls and let them rise for about 40 minutes.
  15. Preheat the oven to 200ºC (425ºF).
  16. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes until it has risen well and is golden brown.
  17. Tap the bottom of the bread to check if it sounds hollow.
  18. Take the bread out of the oven.
  19. Brush the top of the warm bread with milk.
  20. Dust a generous amount of icing sugar over the bread.
