Torta de fiambre
Torta de Fiambre is a traditional Uruguayan dish featuring layers of savory pork.

Ingredients
- 150 g cheddar cheese
- 200 g ham
- 3 pcs eggs
- 100 tbsp vegetable oil
- 240 ml milk
- 120 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 g salt
- 1 g oregano
Instructions
- Prepare a 20-22 cm (8-9 inches) springform pan by lining the bottom with parchment paper, allowing for some excess to hang over the edges.
- Set the oven temperature to 220 degrees Celsius.
- Shred the cheese.
- Retrieve the ham.
- In a large bowl, combine all the other ingredients and mix for approximately one to two minutes.
- Transfer half of the batter into the lined pan.
- Arrange the ham and cheese over the batter.
- Top the ham and cheese with the remaining batter.
- Bake in the oven for around 20-25 minutes, or until the top achieves a golden hue.
- Allow the cake to rest for a few minutes before unclipping it from the pan.
- Serve the dish warm or cold, garnished with fresh herbs.
