Ingredients
- 7 g yeast
- 20 g sugar
- 2 g salt
- 320 ml water
- 30 g butter
- 550 g flour
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine 7g of yeast, 20g of sugar, and 2g of salt.
- Add 320g of warm water (about 37°C) and stir until dissolved.
- Melt 30g of butter and mix it into the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add 550g of flour to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased rectangular baking pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
