Easy Chocolate Cookies
A simple recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Try to use decent chocolate, not Cadbury's, to avoid giving teenagers spots

Ingredients
- 120 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 pcs eggs
- 1 ml vanilla extract
- 180 g plain flour
- 0.5 g bicarbonate of soda
- 150 g chocolate
- 1 g salt
- 1 pcs baking paper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 180C and line a tray with baking paper.
- Mix the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour, bicarbonate of soda, chocolate and a pinch of salt.
- Split into 8 even balls, making sure they don't touch when they melt and spreadout.
- Cook for 10-15 mins until hard on the outside. Allow to cool for 10 minutes if you can, they taste much better with a bit of a crunch.
