Irene's Cottage Pie

Ingredients
- 8 g potatoes
- 4 g brown onions
- 4 pcs garlic cloves
- 750 g minced beef
- 1 pcs beef oxo cube
- 1 g oregano
- 150 g sweetcorn
- 150 g peas
- 1 ml maggi sauce
- 1 ml lee & perrins sauce
- 1 g butter
- 30 ml milk
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 1 g oil
- 1 g salt
Instructions
- Peel and boil 8 large potatoes. Cook them until they slide off a fork.
- While the potatoes are cooking, dice 4 brown onions, 4 cloves of garlic. Brown 750g of minced beef mixed with a beef oxo cube in a frying pan. when browned, add the chopped onions and garlic. Cook until onions are soft. Add oregano, sweetcorn, peas and a teaspoon of Maggies sauce plus a teaspoon of Lee & Perins sauce.
- Mash the potatoes with a tablespoon of butter and a dash of milk. Finally add the minced beef and vegetables into a deep casserole pot. Cover with the mashed potatoes. Finally grate some cheddar cheese on top and grill for 10 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble and lightly brown.
