Hodge Podge

Ingredients
- 1 g new potatoes
- 1 pcs carrot
- 1 g green beans
- 0.5 g peas
- 1 tbsp dill
- 1 tbsp chives
- 3 ml milk
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 g butter
- 0.5 g salt
- 0.25 g black pepper
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil.
- Blanch the carrots and potatoes for five minutes until they are tender enough to be pierced with a fork.
- Briefly cook the peas and beans in the same pot for approximately one minute.
- Drain the vegetables and set them aside.
- In a sturdy pot or Dutch oven, heat butter over medium heat until melted.
- Incorporate the cooked vegetables into the pot and heat until warmed through.
- Pour in the milk and cream into the pot.
- Increase the heat until the soup reaches a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the dill and chives.
- Allow the soup to simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes.
- Dish out the soup while it is still warm.
