- 0.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 0.125 g black pepper
- 1 g sirloin steaks
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sherry
- 1 ml soy sauce
- 0.25 g chicken stock
- 1 g broccoli
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 pcs garlic
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 ml water
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients for the beef marinade.
- Incorporate the beef slices into the marinade and mix until they are fully coated.
- Allow the beef to marinate for a duration of 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce and set it aside.
- Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil.
- Introduce the broccoli to the boiling water and cook for approximately 2 minutes until it's crisp-tender.
- Thoroughly drain the broccoli.
- Preheat a large frying pan or wok over high heat.
- Add cooking oil to the pan and swirl it around to evenly coat the surface.
- Place the beef into the pan, spreading it out in a single layer.
- Allow the beef to cook without stirring for 1 minute.
- Turn the beef slices over and add the garlic to the pan.
- Cook the beef and garlic for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add the sauce and the cornstarch mixture to the pan.
- Stir until the sauce reaches a boil and thickens, which should take about 30 seconds.
- Mix in the broccoli.
- Serve right away, either with steamed rice or on its own.
